The 2024 season is winding down and, after 25 years in business, we are gearing up for our most successful sales year in 2025. We are currently entertaining the idea of adding positions in the following departments.
A note to the Green-n-Growing staff; We are saddened to hear the doors will be closing this year. Our sincere hope is a buyer will save the day and keep the nursery running stronger than ever! Sales Support (full or part-time) Weekdays and Weekends. Sales Support Team members do it all. We unload trucks full of pottery and fountains. We build and maintain awesome water features on the sales floor. We catch Koi and Goldfish for our customers. The sales team is also responsible for loading customer purchases in their vehicles. This is a starting position, and you will learn our business from the ground up! Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. This is an outdoor position.
Nursery Support (30 – 40 hours) Members of the Nursery Support Team get the job done! We unload countless trucks every week, label over 100,000 plants, maintain healthy plants, build beautiful displays, and help our customer load their purchases, all with a smile. Nursery Support members assist our Nursery Team Leads, Nursery Sales Team, and our General Sales Team. Ideal candidates are good communicators, team players, and able to follow procedures. Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly. This is an outdoor position.
General Sales (Full or Part-time) General Sales candidates are people persons. We are a customer service company, and we help in any way we can! We are looking for enthusiastic, happy helpers, with a strong work ethic, excellent communications skills, and a willingness to learn something new every day! This is an outdoor position, and you will be required to enjoy the fresh air, and sunshine, and assist customers while surrounded by natural beauty (and squirrels).
