Asparagus densiflorus ‘Myers’

– Evergreen perennial from
southern Africa
– Dense, bright green cones
of tiny leaves
– Great texture for containers
or seasonal beds

This plant–actually more closely related to edible asparagus and not a fern at all (but please don’t try to eat it)–is the cutest little accent in container arrangements! It’s also extremely drought tolerant, which can be very helpful for container plantings and beds with dry shade (like those found under live oak trees). Great as a houseplant, too!
