Diospyros kaki ‘Fuyu’

each winter

Fruit trees have a reputation for being tricky to grow, requiring advanced pruning techniques and strict spraying schedules. Not so for Asian persimmons! Not only does it produce a delicious orange fruit that can be eaten either crisp or fully ripe, this is just a beautiful tree, with an elegant, slightly weeping habit, white bark with beautiful texture, gorgeous fall color, and bright orange fruits that stay on the tree after the foliage drops. We habe one planted in our Food Forest that we’re very excited to watch mature!
