Every abelia is someone’s favorite around here, and this one is Nathan’s, our nursery manager. “It’s just a great solid little green shrub,” he says. Like the bigger Glossy abelia, it looks great as a formal hedge or as a soft speciment plant. It can take full beating sun and still looks great in part shade. The only thing that can take it down is bad drainage.
