Dichondra argentea
– Native semi-evergreen perennial
from W. Texas to AZ & Mexico
– Striking, shiny silver foliage
– A lush groundcover for well-
drained soil
– Cascades from containers too!
Eye-catching silvery color and cute little leaves that really are reminiscent of pony’s feet. This cute groundcover looks great spilling from a container, but also controls erosion and makes an excellent grass replacement that you’ll never have to mow (and is especially handsome when paired with frogfruit). These little feet do tend to wander, so either rein it in with full sun and drier conditions or plant it somewhere that you don’t mind its tendency to spread.
