BASIC DESIGN - $175.00 to $275.00**
The Basic Design is for the client looking to have a landscape professionally installed by HCWG but doesn’t necessarily need to know plant specifics before the deposit is paid. With Basic Design you will receive up to 50 minutes of on site walk through consultation. We will then put together a simple 8x11 hand drawn color concept sketch which would be to basic scale and show plant and material layout but NO PLANT IDENTIFICATION (plant identification would come later in the process). Basic Design would also include a general (NOT ITEMIZED) quote.
Once we have answered all your questions and a deposit for the install project has been paid, you will receive an updated concept sketch with full plant and material identification (which can be changed during your one-on-one walk through at the nursery). You will also receive an itemized quote showing the exact cost of each item.
DELUXE DESIGN - $300.00 to $450.00**
The Deluxe Design is for the client that needs to know all the specific plant and material information from the start. We still hope you will have HCWG install the project but with the Deluxe Design, the client would have all the information needed to do the work themselves or even hire a different installer. With The Deluxe Design you will receive up to 50 minutes of on site walk through consultation. We will put together a simple 8x11 hand drawn color concept sketch. This concept sketch will be to basic scale with PLANT AND MATERIAL IDENTIFICATION and an ITEMIZED QUOTE.
* The total Consult and Design fee will be due at the time of the initial consultation visit. All concept sketches and quotes will be emailed to the client within two weeks of the initial consultation visit. Additional revisions & visits beyond what is provided in this agreement, will be billed at a rate of $85.00 / hour until the time that a financial commitment has been made by the client to HCWG. If client implements any installation with HCWG within a twelve (12) month period and the total cost meets or exceeds $3000.00 a credit for the consultation and design services paid will be applied to the final invoice up to $300.00.
** The starting price for either option is based on a front OR backyard design of a standard suburban lot. If the client is needing design for both the front AND backyard or if the lot is over sized the consult / design fee will be higher.
** With in the Austin area. If consult site is over 30 minutes away from HCWG add $25.00. Over 45 minutes away add $50.00.
Water Feature Consult & Design Service - $100.00**
Up to 50 minutes of on site walk through. Initial 8x11 hand drawn black & white concept sketch with basic dimensions, material call outs and existing markers. Itemized quote including materials and labor.
One black & white revision if needed.
Garden Coach - $85.00**
Up to 50 minutes of on site walk through. Best way to think of Garden Coach is “we talk - you take notes”. Does not include a sketch or quote.
Standard Consult Service - $85.00**
Up to 50 minutes of on site walk through. Itemized quote including materials and labor if needed. Standard Consult is mostly used for “new to me pond clients”
Leak Consult Service - $85.00**
Up to 50 minutes of on site leak detection. Quick repair IF detected and possible. If not possible, explanation of hourly rates or rebuild to be scheduled for a later date. If rebuild quote is requested, one will be provided including materials and labor.
* The total Consult and Design fee will be due at the time of the initial consultation visit. All concept sketches and quotes will be emailed to client within 10 days (except for Landscape Design for DIY which could take up to 8 weeks) of the initial consultation visit. Additional revisions & visits beyond what is provided in this agreement, will be billed at a rate of $85.00 / hour until the time that a financial commitment has been made by the client to HCWG. If client implements any installation with HCWG within a twelve (12) month period and the total cost meets or exceeds $2000.00 a credit for the consultation and design services paid will be applied to the final invoice up to $175.00. There is no credit given on Landscape Design for DIY services.
