Pomegranates are another fruit that is easy to grow and well adapted to our Central Texas climate, and this is probably the most widely grown pomegranate variety due to its big fruits. Pomegranates need excellent drainage and don’t mind hot, dry weather, making them an easy choice for any edible garden in our region. The flowers are beautiful, and the fruits look like ornaments hanging from this small, densely growing tree.
